Chessel Support Services ... See MoreSee Less

We are looking for committed Full-Time and Part-Time Day Support Workers who are passionate about helping others and making a change in people’s lives.
Chessel Support Services provides personal care for adults with complex needs in a variety of locations across the Waterlooville area. This may include adults with a learning disability alongside mental health issues (and/or physical disabilities) and those who challenge services.
We support residents who have mental health needs with every day, independent living within their own homes. You will support them to cook, clean, have access to the community, attend activities, shopping, do gardening, bill paying and with medical appointments. A person-centred care plan is in place for each individual to enable them to live life as independently as possible. This is an incredibly rewarding job for the right applicant.
We recognise that flexibility is important and so we are offering a variety of employment opportunities and rotas ranging from bank, part-time, full-time, nights, or days. A regular day at Chessel would require working from 8 am to 8 pm, either 2 to 5 days a week as a day support worker and 2 to 5 days days a week 8 pm to 8 am for night shifts.
Experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.
We can offer you:
• Competitive rates of pay
• 19 days off a year pro-rata
• A bonus twice a year
• A full training program with an opportunity to gain an NVQ
• Support and guidance from a dedicated management team
• A variety of shifts including days, nights weekends and sleeps.
What are we looking for?
We’re looking for a passionate individual looking for the opportunity to change lives and make a difference. The ideal candidate would be someone who can work on their own initiative as well as work as part of a time. While experience is preferred, someone with a desire to learn new skills is also welcome to apply. Most of all, as a person-centred service we are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and a good sense of humour.
There is no need to have your own vehicle as you will work in one property a day.
Applicants must be willing to provide references with past employers and an enhanced disclosure check.
If you are looking for a career change or just a change of scenery then this may be the opportunity for you. Experience is not necessary as having the correct personal traits is more important.
If you are interested, please get in touch via messenger.
