What I Do
I have always had a passion for care, and this developed through my own personal experiences. I have now worked in the care sector for 10 years, progressing into management and continually developing my knowledge and skills along the way. I am particularly passionate about delivering person-centred care and taking a holistic approach to supporting individuals. I began my employment at Chessel Support Services as a Care Coordinator, and within just two months I was given the opportunity to progress into the role of Deputy Manager. I am also the Safeguarding Lead within the organisation, which is a responsibility I take very seriously. I strongly believe that “positivity breeds positivity,” and I aim to reflect this in both my leadership and daily practice.
I live at home with my boyfriend and our miniature dachshund, Bramble. In my spare time, I enjoy taking her on long walks and relaxing with a good book.
