What I Do
I have worked in care since I was 18 years old. I have always had an interest in care, as a child my grandparents managed a warden assisted living facility and I would enjoy visiting the residents who lived there. I have worked in a variety of different care settings over the years and have completed NVQ 2 and NVQ3 in health and social care.
Experience
In 2013 I started working for Chessel Support Services as a support worker. This is a job that I really enjoyed and I found that I had an opportunity to progress within the company. I discussed future plans with the management and with hard work and support from management I have been able to progress through the company from support worker to senior and team leader then to care coordinator.
While developing my role I have completed NVQ 5 and various other training courses and in 2017 I was given the opportunity to became the manager of our 5 bedded service.
About Me
When I am not working I enjoy family days out to the beach or the forest with my children and grandchildren.
